SafetyDirect Joins Rand McNally Following Acquisition.

March 7, 2024 – CHICAGO – Enhancing its safety technology capabilities in the advanced telematics space, Rand McNally, the world's most trusted name in travel and navigation for more than a century, announced the addition of SafetyDirect®, a global leader in onboard sensory hardware and software. Rand McNally, owned since 2020 by TELEO Capital, has now completed its acquisition of SafetyDirect, combining the fleet management organizations as part of its commitment to building best-in-class solutions for companies of all sizes and across multiple verticals.  

SafetyDirect's technology has been proven effective by some of the world's largest trucking companies and is pre-installed by several leading truck manufacturers. This will enable Rand McNally to expand its existing Connected Vehicle Platform and accelerate its focus on driver safety, creating a comprehensive platform built around and focused on driver safety.
