Located in the historic Paddock Mansion in downtown Watertown, NY the Paddock Museum is also home to the Jefferson County Historical Society. The Museum features Paddock family and local history exhibits on the mansions three floors and three outer buildings. There are numerous exhibits including the Comparison Kitchen, Parlor Stove, Homespun, and Kinne Waterwheel exhibits. The Kinne Exhibit is believed to be the largest of its kind anywhere, and has been designated a National Landmark by the American Association of Mechanical Engineers. Other exhibits include Watertown, Military, Victorian Pastimes, and Victorian Lifestyles exhibits. During the summer months, the museum features the Early American Barn, Pioneer Cabin, and One-Room Schoolhouse, it’s outdoor exhibits.
