With dozens of RV clubs to choose from, we recommend narrowing the options down by location, perks, or cost, to start. We’ve detailed what a few of the most popular clubs offer–from discounts to community–and provided a listing of several others so you can find the best fit for your travels.

  1. Good Sam Club
Good Sam offers community, trip planning, and a wide variety of discounts for a monthly membership fee. Members can save on RV parks, service centers, parts and products, fuel, publications and roadside assistance. The club also has local chapters nationwide with meetings and events, interest groups online, and forums, tips, and advice. This is a popular and comprehensive club that even offers product testing and giveaway opportunities.
  2. Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA)
The largest membership group, FMCA currently has 92,000 members and 500 chapters around the country. For an annual fee, members can attend conventions and rallies locally and internationally, receive mail and emergency services, earn a free subscription to Family Motor Coaching magazine, and enjoy the benefits of a community with common interests or similar RV designations.
  3. Passport America
Passport America provides 50% discounts on over 1,800 North American campgrounds, a free RV America magazine subscription, and trip routing for an annual membership fee. The club hosts annual rallies as well and offers RV resources online.
  4. Escapees RV Club
A support network with an annual fee, Escapees offers its 32,000 members both a magazine and travel guide, access to the club’s 19 parks, a mail-forwarding service, local chapters who hold luncheons and rallies, news and tips, and legal advocacy regarding RV civil liberties.
  5. RVing Women
A smaller network of 2,500 members, this women’s group provides a community of friends and fellow travelers, an RVing Women magazine subscription, online forums and resources, 16 chapters nationwide, conventions and rallies, and campground, product, and service discounts for an annual fee.

Be sure to see which clubs have local chapters near you, and tell us about yours!
