For a moment Dan and I thought we were on the “Best Food” route while enjoying our dinner at Puckett’s Grocery. We feasted on the best wings and pulled pork we’ve ever tasted. Dan said he would drive to Tennessee for it again…it’s only 9 hours. This is a must stop for lunch or dinner!
Puckett’s Grocery began in the 1950s with its first location in the Leiper’s Fork community. The place became a staple in the community where you could pick up some groceries, a tank of gas, enjoy a good southern meal or chat it up with some friends. It now has a two more homes, one in downtown Franklin and another in Nashville.
In 2007 Puckett’s was named a “Must Visit Restaurant While Traveling” in Rand McNally’s Top 100 Restaurants.
The owner, Andy Marshall, has created a full southern experience here at Puckett’s. The atmosphere, the food and the bluegrass music gave us a great taste of Tennessee!
Beautiful Food + Beautiful Music = Beautiful Experience and we appreciate it!
